Fall is here!

My favorite season is finally here! I would be even happier if my allergies weren't so bad, but I can't have it all. I guess we'll be spending some time at our town's Fall festival this weekend, "The Black Walnut Festival". Fun for the kids with rides, entertainment, and crafts/art booths.
It is still very warm here, which I like. I would rather have a warmer Fall than a freezing cold one. Anyway, in honor of the season....I just listed my "Forest In Autumn" original abstract painting in my Etsy shop. Just click on the link in the right-hand column on my blog to visit my store. The "Posh Parade" is marching again!

Renaissance Angel....

My love affair with the Renaissance continues. I've been studying the great artists of this era for quite some time. After much experimentation, I finally came up with a color combination using my acrylics that resemble oils. I can not use oil paints because of an allergy, but love the deep enchanting hues. I incorporated a landscape into the background of this painting. If you click on the image of the painting, you will see a larger image and more detail. I will be listing on Ebay tonight! Blue Angel....SOLD

This is the second "Tattered Angel" I painted today. I usually paint in warm rich colors, but this one felt right to paint in blue. She has a real grunge look to her with a peeling paint effect. I will be listing this piece on Ebay tonight,as well.

Tattered Angel Series.....SOLD

This is the latest Angel in the "Tattered Angel" series. Deep red and turquoise is one of my favorite color combinations,so I incorporated that into this painting. I try to design my Angels to fit a large range of styles, Folk Art, Primitive, Rustic, Modern, with a touch of French and Italian frescoes all in one!
