Alice....SOLD!

I've had requests for an "Alice", and have been wanting to paint her for a very long time, so I just decided to do it! Here she is, my version anyway....she finally caught the white rabbit!
I can't wait for Tim Burton's version of Alice In Wonderland to hit theaters, I will be there opening night! You can find promos of the movie online, just search....(Johnny Depp is the Mad Hatter,so awesome!)....I'll be listing this painting (16 x 20 inch canvas board) for sale on Ebay soon! Prunella & Bijou....SOLD!

Meet Prunella and her magical fish, Bijou! A character I've been working on and sketching for a while, trying to get the facial features how I wanted....I've always loved Blythe dolls and vintage Big Eye paintings...I think they are so sweet, but a little creepy at the same time...I love it! Painting, printing, listing, blogging....

Wow, I can't believe how the days have flown by since my last post! I've been very busy away from the computer. We had a small tornado come through last Tuesday morning, and we were without power for two days, then discovered a water line was broken underground when one of our huge Walnut trees uprooted and fell on it! My daughter had a couple of friends staying the night when the tornado hit, and we had to wake everyone up and pile in the car and fly over to my father-in-law's house to get to the basement. It was an interesting journey to say the least!
Luckily we had no damage to our house, just big trees down all around us,and the usual grass, leaves, and dirt stuck all over the siding.
So, I'm looking forward to getting back to painting, printing, listing,and blogging! I've added some new prints to my Etsy shop with FREE Shipping in the U.S., and a few original paintings are on Ebay, and end tonight! Just click the links at the upper right of my blog to get there...well, I quess I should get busy, just wanted to check in with you all......take care!

I posted a few days ago about going back to the art I love creating....I've always had a passion for the unique, eerie, and unusual....dark even, so...in keeping with my true love of creating,here are my two newest creations! I know the pic might not be the best quality, but you can get the general idea. These were so much fun to create, the dresses are actually ink blots! (Well, paint blots), they are holding vintage styled keys,surrounded by various gears and whatnot. I am loving going back to my passion of "The Quirky"....I will be listing both of these on Ebay tonight!

Happy June!

I thought it would never come! I'm so glad to be out of the cold... I love Spring, Summer and Fall- I have to have color around me. I always get a little depressed in Winter...so I just wanted to post and run today and say "Happy June" to everyone! (Today is our 18th wedding anniversary, I can't believe it, where does the time go?)
Anyway, I am busy creating new art pieces that will be up on Ebay soon, and new art prints I will be adding to my Etsy shop. I will try to post some pics soon!
